A House Blessing Rite

Jumping onto the multimedia bandwagon is something that I've been intending to do for several years now. However, I've just recently gotten around to it and started making some short how-to conjure videos.

My first offering involves a house blessing rite that I often perform for clients who hire me to come clear and bless their homes. I really like this one, and thought that I would share it with everyone else, too.

I will make one note - in the video I don't make very much of the peace water. I hadn't poured the correct amount, so it ended up being pretty sparse. I would normally have at least 3 times that amount in the central plate. Just a little FYI for those who are detail oriented.

  1. What an awesome idea! The video looks great, can't wait to see more :)

  2. Thanks! Glad you like it. I have 4 videos right now, although I'm thinking of re-filming one before uploading to YouTube because it was the first one I did and the lighting was awful and there's an editing glitch that I can't really do too much about.

But I have about 10 planned right now, and I'm sure I'll have more ideas as the weeks go by. I won't likely have time to film any more until mid-February though.

It's fun! So, I will certainly get more out there over time.

  3. It turned out awesome, Devi! I'll be spreading the news about this and referring people to these videos.

Finally, someone who knows that they are talking about making conjure videos.

What a great medium to use--people can finally see those things that may have been difficult to grasp in otherwise written or oral instructions.

    Way to go, Devi!

  4. Thanks ConjureMan. I did want to present the material in a way that used techniques as traditional as possible, while also showing where one could adapt it to suit their own religious proclivities - but without over-universalizing it myself.

  5. This fabulous Devi. I LOVE your holy water bottle. Jealous much! ;)

  6. Devi,
I LOVE the videos!! They are so very helpful to me, especially the pendulum video which I have been having trouble with getting right. It is so awesome to see how you do it!!

I also really love the Amparo video - what a cool idea. I want to make one for myself and one for my son. Do you ever use that technique for other saints such as Dr. Jose Hernandez? I was thinking of making one for healing!

Great videos, I can't wait to see more!!!

  7. Thank you, thank you thank you!!!

This is SO helpful. You can read as much as you want but there is NOTHING like watching someone who knows what they're doing. Beautiful.

The pendulum video was also VERY helpful. As a beginner, I always hear, "start with divination" but I always come to the wall of "uhhh... how?".

I also wanted to comment you have a very "clergy" sounding pacing to your voice, very nice.

  8. Amazing, Devi. What a beautiful rite. Blessings!
